Tuition
Our tuition includes:
- Airport transportation to and from LAX. We will have available arrival and departure times posted soon
- 3-meals per day in the award-winning UCLA dining facilities
- Air-Conditioned Rooms that include basic linens and private or semi-private bathrooms
- Access to Library and Online Databases offered by UCLA
- Access to recreational facilities

VBI Session I (July 11-24): $2100
VBI Session I + 1 Focus Week (July 11-31): $2950
VBI Session I + 2 Focus Weeks (July 11-Aug 7) $3900
VBI Session I + 3 Focus Weeks (July 11-Aug 14) $4850
VBI Session I + 4 Focus Weeks (July 11-Aug 21) $5800
VBI Session II (Aug 8-21) $2100
VBI Session II + 1 Focus Week (Aug 1-21) $2950
VBI Session II + 2 Focus Weeks (July 25-Aug 21) $3900
*VBI Focus week without an anchor session (eg Session I or Session II) $1200
**IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT STUDENTS WHO HAVE NEVER DONE LINCOLN-DOUGLAS DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A FOCUS WEEK WITHOUT AN ANCHOR SESSION OR SIGN-UP FOR A FOCUS WEEK PRIOR TO ATTENDING ONE OF OUR ANCHOR SESSIONS. OUR FOCUS WEEKS DO NOT INCLUDE NOVICE INSTRUCTION.**
Payment Schedule
- A $300.00 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.
- Registration is due in full by May 31, 2010. Payments by check must be postmarked by May 27, 2010.
- Families who wish to make payments beyond May 31, 2010 will be assessed a $50.00 processing fee.
Financial Aid
There is limited financial aid for those who qualify. Please email help@victorybriefs.com if you would like more information.
We also recommend that students who are in financial need apply for grants such as The Voices Foundation, a foundation started by John McKay, a former VBI staff member and champion debater.
Terms and Conditions
Upon registering, you will be asked to agree to the following terms:
1. Registration is open until we are full. Anyone who registers after we are full will have their entire deposit refunded.
2. The first $300.00 of payment is considered a deposit and it is never refundable under any circumstance.
3. After April 30, 2010 any cancellation will require that 50% of the total agreed amount will not be refundable. You are still responsible for paying any outstanding amount.
4. After May 31, 2010 we cannot give any refund under any circumstance. You are still responsible for paying any outstanding amount owed.
5. Upon cancellation we will discuss options for you to fulfill your payment obligations.
6. Cancellations made after April 30, 2010 may take between 10-12 weeks to refund due to the fact that UCLA requires a prepayment for all rooms we request, regardless of whether or not we use them all.
7. Airport transportation (!NOT PLANE TICKETS!) fees are included in the price, and are subject to a limited time of travel. Students who arrive or depart outside of our required travel time will be required to pay any fees associated with airport transportation including – taxis, missed flights by VBI staff members, etc.
8. Students who travel as an “unaccompanied minor” with the airlines will be subject to an $200.00 service charge in addition to any other fees incurred such as – taxis, missed flights by VBI staff members, etc.
9. Your card will be charged within 48 hours of submitting this information.
10. Dates listed above are subject to change. We do not anticipate changing dates. However, if we are forced to change dates and it means you cannot attend VBI, we will refund the full amount paid.
11. With the exception of those who have paid at least the deposit, the price of camp is subject to change without notice.
12. Any discounted price or financial aid provided by VBI cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts.
13. By choosing one of the VBI sessions and payment options above, you agree to pay the amounts chosen by or on the date given in the form.
