Josh Feinzig Wins the Penn Round Robin
Stoneman Douglas High School’s Josh Feinzig is the champion of the 2011 Penn Round Robin. Josh, who was also top speaker, defeated Harrison High School’s Danny DeBois in the final round on a 3-2 decision. (Danny entered the final round as the top-placing debater in terms of ballot count.)
The final round was adjudicated by Mike Contillo, Kanisha Parthasarathy, Alex Zimmermann, Stefanie Rohde, and the remaining Round Robin participants. Zimmermann, Rohde, and the students voted for Josh on the negative; Contillo and Parthasarathy voted for Danny on the affirmative.
Josh is coached by Ryan Cole; Danny is coached by Chetan Hertzig and Kathryn Harris.
